Mazel Tov! If you are looking at this page, you may be ready to welcome a new member to the tribe. Our ritual leaders are delighted to help create the perfect personalized ceremony to welcome your child into the community.
A Brit Milah is a ritual ceremony that accompanies circumcision. Haver members may officiate, but the circumcision itself is performed by a Mohel or Mohelet.
A Brit Bat or Simchat Bat – is a baby naming ceremony that welcomes a girl into the Jewish community.
A Brit Shalom is a baby naming ceremony for a boy that does not include circumcision.
A Mohel or Mohelet can perform the naming ceremony as well as the circumcision. They can work independently of or in conjunction with a clergy member.
