A Beit Din is a Jewish court composed of at least three people, typically rabbis, who are knowledgeable in Jewish law (halakhah). These "justices" oversee and rule on Jewish legal matters such as divorce and conversion. Haver serves as a local Beit Din for the greater Boulder Jewish community.
